What is Friends at Baskerville (F.A.B)?
F.A.B is a safe platform in school for parents/carers to share thoughts and ideas. We meet regularly on a Wednesday morning (11am-12pm), offer emotional support and discuss key topical issues. We even offer tea and biscuits!
F.A.B Sessions 22-23
Introduction and welcome session 12.10.22
Parents/carers attended the introduction session and feedback their thoughts and ideas on future session in school.
Sleep wellbeing session: 23.11.22
Richard O'Shea offered useful tips and tips on sleep and well-being, he also shared useful resources and agencies to support.
Independent Travel training session: 7.12.22
Blue-Belle Kulpa from Birmingham City Council delivered a travel training session and referral process to parents/carers. We have developed a great link to support our young people with travel training.
PSHE in the Curriculum session 11.1.23
Thank you to parents/carers that attended the PSHE in the curriculum session led by Donna Bence, Faculty Leader. The session was informative, it was great to see you engage and ask questions. There will be a well-being session in February and Midland Mencap will be delivering a session in March along with many more sessions. I look forward to seeing you all.
